Terms of Service

TradeLab ("the Service", "we", "us") is a personal trading journal and note-taking application. It allows users to record trades, observations, emotions, and performance metrics for their own reference and self-improvement.

⚠ TradeLab is a journaling tool only. Nothing in the application, on this website, or in any communication from TradeLab constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, trading signals, or any form of regulated financial service.

All trading and investment decisions are made solely by the user. TradeLab bears no responsibility for any financial losses or gains resulting from decisions made by users, including decisions made while using, reviewing, or acting upon data displayed within the application. Past performance data displayed in the app reflects only what the user has manually recorded and does not guarantee future results.

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use TradeLab. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Transmit any harmful, fraudulent, or abusive content.
• Use the Service to distribute spam or malicious software.

TradeLab Pro is a paid subscription plan. Billing is processed by Paddle, acting as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No payment is charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. By providing payment details you authorise Paddle to charge your chosen payment method at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.

Billing Cycles

TradeLab Pro is available on a monthly or yearly billing cycle. The applicable price is shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period. Paddle will charge your payment method on file for the renewal amount unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the current paid period following cancellation.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or via the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged for the next cycle. Please see our Refund Policy and Subscription Terms for full details.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, Paddle will attempt to retry the charge. If the payment cannot be collected, access to Pro features may be suspended until the payment is resolved.

All content, design, and code in TradeLab is the property of TradeLab and its developers. You retain ownership of the journal entries and data you create. You grant TradeLab a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may delete your account at any time; upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TradeLab and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Financial losses or trading losses of any kind, whether or not arising from use of the Service.
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill.
• Decisions made based on journal data, analytics, or any other information displayed within TradeLab.
• Service interruptions, bugs, or inaccuracies in recorded data.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to TradeLab in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction where TradeLab is operated, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
